往菜園摘菜 Wu Tin Chee

Tin Chee: We also bought vegetables from the villagers, but often we had to pick our own and paid them afterward.  Attached are two photos from Sa Law Wan when we picked green beans.  You can see that there were quite a few people involved in bean picking beans.  It might be during one of those days when we worked in the evening (i.e. to follow the schedule of the tides, for those who had not worked in that project).   Hence, people would have spare time to help out during the day for bean picking.
